This is a chance for you to make the first steps in learning how to tie a fly. This brief introduction will giving you a taste of some key basics needed to tie your own flies. This is a great opportunity to see if fly tying is for you. Just think of the fun you'll have and the money you can save if you can make a few of your own flies. If you’re new to fly fishing, or if you have been a fly fisher for sometime but have not learned to tie, this is the class for you!
The class will teach a few of the entry level skills you need learn to fly tying. You will have an introduction to the basic materials and their uses, learn how to use all of the essential tools, then on to the basic knots and lashings. Finally, you will get to tie your first fly!
