Progress in Fly Fishing

If you want to continue to PROGRESS in the adventure of fly fishing, consider taking one of the following NEXT STEPS:

  1. In-Depth Nymph Class
  2. Focus on Dry Fly Class
  3. Streamer Fly Fishing
  4. Introduction to Aquatic Entomology and Fly Selection class
  5. Women's Back to Basics Class

Fly fishing is a life-long pursuit. Izaak Walton, author of The Compleat Angler, first published in 1653, wote that "Rivers and the inhabitants of the watery elements are made for wise men to contemplate and for fools to pass by without consideration." For centuries, wise men and women have found that at the confluence where water, clean air, good friends and trout meet, there is clarity of thought, which is not muddled by the noise of a busy life.

We want to help you progress in your adventure of fly fishing. Take advantage of the opportunities below to take the next step and discover a few more secrets to the art of fly fishing.

"We may say of angling as Dr. Boteler said of strawberries: 'Doubtless God could have made a better berry, but doubtless God never did'; and so, if I might be judge, God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling." - Izaak Walton
