What is an RSS Feed?

RSS, or Real Simple Syndication, (simply defined) is a means of transmitting and updating news in an automated way. With feeds you can authorize a website to send you their updates on a regular basis, directly to your email’s inbox, your favorite news reader and even your cell phone. To subscribe to our Angler's Blog you add our RSS feed (see below).

Why subscribe to the blog if I'm already receiving emails?

• Our Angler's Blog delivers different content than our e-news. The blog features fresh news more frequently in smaller bites. We suggest you subscribe to both to receive the most timely and relevant information.
• With our blog, you don't have to disclose your email address - you choose to have the news come directly to your RSS reader, feed reader, or aggregator which can be web-based, desktop-based, or mobile device-based (cell phone, i-Pad, computer, etc.).
• Also, with the blog you don't have to unsubscribe if you change your mind and no longer wish to receive our content. You simply remove the feed from your reader.
• You receive the information as soon as it is posted - not having to wait for an email to be sent.
