Four Mile Creek (Private Waters) 2 Anglers MAX

This is a true small stream Colorado Experience. In the lonely foothills between Cripple Creek and Canyon City this creek runs through a scenic gorge called Helena Canyon. The creek is feed in part by Wrights Reservoir and by a year round flow from the Carlton tunnel. The stream is 10-15 feet wide and is lined with willows requiring mid-stream wading. Scores of stream bred brown trout 6-13 inches with an occasional 16-18 inch. This is a great dry fly stream. Using lighter rods at 7-8 feet 2-3 weight. A real adventure. Please check with us for scheduling as this is limited use private water. 1.75 miles of private small stream water 1+ hours from the Springs, in Helena Canyon. Limit 2 people half day trips only.

Rainbow Falls Mountian Trout
![]() |
This is a great fly fishing ranch to guide clients for their first day with a fly rod. While learning, clients are most likely to hook Trophy Trout in Spring, Eagle, or Elk Lake. Beginner's casting is made easier on the still waters of the lakes rather than the moving water of a river or stream. There is enough basic casting and line management to learn without the added challenge of having to manage their line in moving water. Regular half and full day prices plus $60 rod fees per angler. North Fork Meadows |
The North Fork Meadows has a great variety of water that accommodates anglers of all skill levels. It’s a great combination of fast riffles, pocket water, long runs and deep holes and is broken down into three different sections, the lower, middle and upper North Fork Meadows. The middle section of the North Fork Meadows is the easiest section to fish and it has the most variety of water. There are fast riffles, long runs, pocket water and deep holes that produce some of the largest fish on the North Fork of the South Platte River. This section fishes well no matter what the flows are and is perfect for any angler. Short line or long line nymphing is the norm but a good caster that likes throwing big flies will fall in love with the streamer fishing. Every run, pocket and deep pool holds huge trout that will crush a well presented streamer. The North Fork Meadows offers some of the best streamer fishing in Colorado, hands down. Come try it out and fish with a Colorado fly fishing guide on private water. The Meadows fly fishing property fishes well year-round offering anglers the ability to have great fishing even through the winter months. The North Fork of the South Platte gets most of its water from Lake Dillon through Robert’s Tunnel. Because of the tunnel, the water temperature doesn’t fluctuate too much throughout the year which creates a stable environment.
Regular Half or Full Day prices plus the following Rod Fees.
