Brush Hollow Reservoir

Brush Hollow ReservoirBrush Hollow Reservoir is located south of Colorado Springs and west of Penrose, off of Highway 115. It is a typical warm water fishery with species including: Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, Yellow Perch, Walleye, and Rainbow trout in the spring and fall. Brush Hollow has high mercury levels, so harvesting fish is not recommended. Also, watch your step walking around the reservoir because it is known to be home to rattle snakes. This is, however, an excellent stillwater fishery within reasonable driving distance from Colorado Springs.
