Where to Go Quail Lake
Quail Lake is a 22-acre lake on the southwest side of Colorado Springs, off of Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard. The lake is stocked regularly by the Division of Wildlife and Rainbow Trout are plentiful in the spring and early summer with cooler water temperatures. Other species that populate this lake include warm water fish ranging from crappie and pike to catfish and wipers.
Directions - 6.2 Miles - 10 Minutes
- Head south on S 21st St toward US-24 W
- Continue on US-24 E/W Cimarron St. Take I-25 S to Lake Ave. Take exit 138 from I-25 S
- Drive to E Cheyenne Mountain Blvd
