Wrights Lake is formed from a diversion from Chalk Creek. Many "Locals" refer to the lake as Bunny Lake. Wrights Lake is a Fly & Lure only area, but you can keep a few. The water is usually gin clear and sight fishing for 10-12” stocked Rainbow and Cutthroat trout is most often successful. There are active beavers in the area and the beaver ponds often fish well too.
The fishing in Chalk Creek, adjacent to Wright’s Lake, can be good too.
